Purpose and Scope:

The Journal of Manufacturing Science and Engineering disseminates original, theoretical, and experimental research results of permanent interest in all branches of manufacturing including emerging areas. Research papers are peer-reviewed full-length articles of considerable depth. The journal also publishes technical briefs, manufacturing innovation papers, reviews, and editorials. The Editorial Board consists of a team of international experts who provide expertise and conduct the peer-review process for the different topical areas covered by the journal.

PARTIAL SCOPE
Areas of interest including, but not limited to: Additive manufacturing; Advanced materials and processing; Artificial intelligence in manufacturing; Assembly; Biomedical manufacturing; Bulk deformation processes (e.g., extrusion, forging, wire drawing, etc.); CAD/ CAM/CAE; Computer-integrated manufacturing; Control and automation; Cyber-physical systems in manufacturing; Data science-enhanced manufacturing; Design for manufacturing; Inspection and quality control; Laser processes; Robotics and flexible tooling; Semiconductor manufacturing; Smart manufacturing; Sustainable manufacturing.
